Product Description With this tool you can easily size most of your metal watch bands and bracelets. Simply align the pin that connects the links with the pin on the tool and turn the handle to push the pin out. Each removable link on the watch bracelet has an arrow that indicates the direction of the pin to be pushed. Two additional pins for the tool are included in the package.

Not worth it... August 16, 2010 R. Rizwana skip this product. You don't have to buy a really expensive set either. Just get those kits with the tiny hammer thing, the pin and the watch stabilizer and you are good to go. This item is not built smart, there is no way to adjust the width of the tool, so if your watch happens to be just too wide, (I tried it on a woman's watch and even that was too wide) then you are out of luck. I ended up just using the pin only and a hammer I had to get my watch fixed, stabilizing my watch was a pain. Oh well, it was only 5 bucks. Oh yes, the plastic is quite cheap as well.
great product July 30, 2010 selhan i dont need to go to sears and waist 7 bucks on making my watch shorter..it definatly worth the money the only problem is if u have a wide chain watch over inch and a half u probably wouldnt be able to fit
do not recommend July 22, 2010 E. kraynak (Denver CO) Tried using it to remove a pin the first time and the metal pin broke off the device. Now I can't remove the old pin to try another spare pin in the device. I would not recommend this plastic device to anyone.
Easy to use & paid for itself after 5 MINUTES! May 6, 2010 Lan 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I just received this, and after 5 minutes my watch fits perfectly! This pin remover has already paid for itself -- it would have been at least $5 to get the links removed professionally, plus the cost of gas. Even if it hadn't paid for itself so quickly, it would have been worth it due to the time savings alone.
It doesn't come with instructions, but I was able to figure it out very quickly despite having no experience with these things. Like previous reviewers mentioned, the pin must be pushed in the direction of the arrow (assuming your watch has arrows). The vertical alignment (watch pin to tool pin) is very important, but you can easily adjust that with the metal screw on the side... it looks like it's moving only horizontally, but it actually allows precision adjustment in the vertical direction. You can use the tool to push the pins back in.
When I was looking for something like this on Amazon, I almost bought a whole watch repair kit because I wasn't really sure what I needed. If you only need to remove/add links, this is all you need!
Pays for itself very quickly! April 14, 2010 AwakeNow.co.uk 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Watch / jewellery link remover is a great gadget. Mine is virtually identical to the one in the picture less tthe 5 additional pins. Over the decades i have been to the jeweller too many times to get watch links added or taken out - so why didn't i buy this gadget sooner?
Its a great tool and pays for itself quickly! Just line your watch link up (the hole) and rotate the handle and the pin pushes out (beware as some watch links are spring loaded) and if you have titanium links, you may bend the metal pusher as it is stainless steel - not as hard at titanium.
Great device - use it twice and it has paid for itself!
