I picked up the Sterling Silver Peridot, Garnet, Amethyst, Blue Topaz & Citrine Individually Boxed Stud Earring Set for myself and one of the reviews recommended earring stabilizers in place of the regular earring backs. It was an excellent suggestion. These "stabilizers" do an excellent job of keeping the studs flat against my ears. They are also easy to use. I have had stabilizers in the past that were very difficult to actually get onto the earring back.
The only drawback was the number of backs in the package but that was easily solved by giving a few to family members.

These work and you get more than what Claire's charges. I found I would have to go to the mall to replenish these, but why go to the mall when I can buy larger quantities on amazon? I am very satisfied.

I had lost similar earring backs and I ended up replacing both so I have brand new backs. It's so cheap and it holds so well. Love them.

These are great. I needed replacement backs. The tension in the "nut" is very good. The work with all my post earrings. You get 25 pairs and the price is wonderful.
