What a deal on this beautiful bead April 13, 2010 Charm Lover (San Diego) This bead is truly lovely, and very colorful, with an amazing amount of detail for the price. I added it to my small collection of far more expensive Pandora and Trollbeads along with a number of others I also bought from this company. You cannot go wrong with this price and can have several of these beautiful beads for the cost of one of the expensive famous-maker company ones.
Good quality, pretty and most important, not overpriced. March 12, 2010 Stephanie M These beads are great..no, they aren't the real Murano beads but if you don't like the idea of paying over inflated prices for a bead(and sorry, a bead is not "art"-no matter what some may say) then you may be very happy with this product. I also buy my glass beads from a local vendor who only charges a couple of bucks per bead. All of these "cheap" beads have held up well and look great. I get lots of compliments on them.
Has NOTHING to do with Murano! December 6, 2009 E. Swope (Kaneohe, HI USA) 3 out of 5 found this review helpful
Calling these "Murano style" beads is a really deceptive practice; one could say key word spamming. It is outright abuse to use someone's name (in this case, the artists of Murano) to describe a product which they have *nothing* to do with.
Do you know what you are selling?
What is a blown bead? Not this.
Cheap, poorly made Chinese lampwork, usually sold for a few dollars a pound. I see in the sponsored links below that there's a shop selling them for $4.99 for 60 beads, so even at $2 they are dramatically overpriced.
and, for the record, stylistically, they look nothing like Murano glass. It is American artists who are being knocked off.
A shame people do not support local artisans December 6, 2009 L. Hagstrom-sanger 5 out of 8 found this review helpful
If people just spent a little more time internet surfing, they would find glass artists, probably even local ones, that make beautiful pandora style beads. Most studio's are artist owned and operated and you are buying from the person who made the bead. Lampwork Artists take pride in selling quality beads that will last a lifetime. The price per bead is more than affordable as well, especially for a one of a kind original.
Pandora Bead July 31, 2009 Cat Guy (California) 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
This isn't a real Pandora bead, but it's pretty great for a few dollars. The detailing is fantastic. Making a great looking, but inexpensive, bracelet is a breeze thanks to beads like this. The price is right.
